George Shoup, Jr. loved his home state of New Mexico and he loved McMurry University.

So, when he died in 2012, the Shoup Family didn’t have to think twice about how to honor his legacy. They established the Shoup Memorial Scholarship fund at McMurry. Read more.

Barbara Seidel Swagerty ('56 & '58) recalls her McMurry days with fondness, and she credits her alma mater with shaping her life’s journey and preparing her for future service.
